Welcome to escape fulcrum

Human trafficking is a $236 billion global crisis that enslaves 49.6 million people, including 11,193 identified U.S. victims each year, with a heartbreaking 25% being children (ILO, 2024; Polaris, 2024; NHTH, 2024). This scourge fuels $35 billion in untaxed U.S. revenue, empowering cartels, terrorists, and corrupt networks while inflicting $24 billion in healthcare costs and $10 billion in lost productivity (GFI, 2022; NIH, 2023; U.S. Senate, 2023).

Current federal efforts, led by agencies like the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT), FBI, DOJ, and State Department, remain fragmented, reactive, and hindered by intelligence gaps, failing to counter a transnational threat. This is unacceptable—a clear and present danger to the health, safety, and dignity of all American citizens and vulnerable populations worldwide.

Escape Fulcrum was founded to confront this crisis head-on, driven by a bold vision to shift the power balance from traffickers to survivors. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to empowering former victims to reclaim their lives through a holistic, survivor-centered approach. Our three-fold mission is to rescue, recover, and reintegrate persons trafficked by force, fraud, or coercion, restoring hope and building futures free from exploitation.
